We are RedShiftAI, a remote-first company building tools used by thousands of teams worldwide. Our engineering team is growing and we need a Staff Backend Developer to help us reach the next level. You will work alongside a senior team with high standards and a strong culture.
What You'll Do:
- Contribute to engineering roadmap planning and sprint execution
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response efforts
- Identify and address technical debt to keep the codebase healthy
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical requirements
- Drive architectural decisions aligned with long-term product goals
- Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
What We're Looking For:
- History of influencing technical or product strategy at scale
- Recognized expertise that spans multiple teams or domains
- 8+ years of experience with increasing scope and impact
- Exceptional mentorship and organizational leadership skills
